Adobo is not only limited to pork and chicken, other meats, (such as squid and cuttlefish, goat meat, beef, shrimp and vegetables (spinach) can also be cooked this way. This Pinoy Pork Adobo Recipe is one of the easiest and best recipe that you will find.

Follow This Easy Steps:

Ingredients :


  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced or crushed
  • 2 lbs pork belly 
  • 4-5 pieces dried bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4-5 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon whole pepper corn (paminta)
  • 1 -  1 1/2 cup water
  • Salt

Step by Step Cooking Procedure :


1. First Combine the pork belly, soy sauce, and garlic then marinade for at least 1 hour and set aside.
2. Heat the pot and put-in the marinated pork belly then let it cook for a few minutes.
3. Then add water, whole pepper corn, and dried bay leaves then bring to a boil.Let it simmer for about 40 minutes to an hour.
4. Put-in the vinegar and simmer for about 12 - 15 minutes
5. Add a pinch of salt.
6. Best serve when hot. Share and enjoy!
