Put the egg yolk, condensed milk and lemon in a mixing bowl. 2.) Mix the ingredients well until the mixture is well blended. 3.) Grease the molder individually with a melted butter. 4.) Transfer the mixture into the molders. The molders should be only half-full. 5.) Steam the mixture for around 10 minutes. For the Rice Cake Part: 6.) Combine the egg white, evaporated milk and sugar in a mixing bowl. 7.) Mix all the ingredients until it's well blended. Set it aside. 8.) Combine the cake flour, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl. 9.) Mix everything up until it's well blended. 10.) Pour-in the egg mixture we prepared earlier into the cake flour mixture. 11.) Mix the two mixture well. Put the water while mixing. Blending the Two Parts: 12.) Take the Leche flan out of the steamer. 13.) Pour-in the puto mixture into the molder. 14.) How to Cook Leche Puto / Puto de Leche Recipe & Tutorial

So let's get on with the cooking here's what we need:

Ingredients Needed:

  • 5 egg yolks
  • 5 egg whites
  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp lemon
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • butter

Equipment Needed:

  • Steamer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Molders

Step by Step Cooking Procedures:

For the Leche Flan Part: 1.) Put the egg yolk, condensed milk and lemon in a mixing bowl.
2.) Mix the ingredients well until the mixture is well blended.
3.) Grease the molder individually with a melted butter.
4.) Transfer the mixture into the molders. The molders should be only half-full.
5.) Steam the mixture for around 10 minutes.
For the Rice Cake Part:
6.) Combine the egg white, evaporated milk and sugar in a mixing bowl.
7.) Mix all the ingredients until it's well blended. Set it aside.
8.) Combine the cake flour, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl.
9.) Mix everything up until it's well blended.
10.) Pour-in the egg mixture we prepared earlier into the cake flour mixture.
11.) Mix the two mixture well. Put the water while mixing.
Blending the Two Parts: 12.) Take the Leche flan out of the steamer.
13.) Pour-in the puto mixture into the molder.
14.) Steam again for another 10 minutes.
15.)You're done! After that take out the Leche Puto’s from the steamer.
16.) Let it cool for 2 minutes and it's ready to be serve.
