1. Lemon or Lime Juice
This is a go-to trick for a reason. Just squeeze some fresh lemon or lime juice onto your hands and rub it in thoroughly especially around your nails and fingertips. Rinse with cool water, and enjoy the fresh citrus scent. The acidity breaks down the fishy oils causing the odor.

2. Rub Your Hands on Stainless Steel
Believe it or not, stainless steel can actually neutralize fish odors. Just rub your hands on a stainless steel scrub, sink, spoon, or a special stainless steel “soap” bar under cold running water for about 30 seconds. It works by binding to the sulfur compounds that cause the smell.
3. Baking Soda Paste
Make a simple paste using baking soda and a bit of water. Scrub your hands with it for about a minute, then rinse off. Baking soda is a natural deodorizer that helps lift and eliminate smells without harsh chemicals.

Mix a spoonful of table salt with a splash of white vinegar to create a gritty scrub. Rub your hands together with the mixture, then rinse. Salt helps exfoliate, while vinegar neutralizes odors.
7. Coffee Grounds Rub
Save those used coffee grounds and put them to good use. Scrub your hands with them and rinse well. Coffee naturally absorbs strong smells and also provides a nice exfoliating texture.
8. Olive Oil + Dish Soap Method
Before you wash your hands, rub in a bit of olive oil and let it sit for a minute. Then wash thoroughly with dish soap. Oil dissolves fish oils more effectively, and dish soap finishes the job.
9. Cold Water First, Not Hot
When you’re done handling fish, rinse your hands with cold water before using soap. Hot water can cause fish oils to bond with your skin, making the smell harder to remove. Cold water keeps the oils loose so soap can wash them away more easily.
10. Fresh Herbs Rub
